ToTintor Jewelry - Where Sound Meets Form
Dec 16, 2025
Handcrafted 925 sterling silver jewelry with raw crystals, inspired by music and emotion.
ToTintor Jewelry is a unique brand at the intersection of music, art, and design. Nikola Tintor, the creative force behind the label, transforms his background in electronic music into a distinctive jewelry language - one where rhythm, emotion, and atmosphere become tangible through silver and raw crystals. Each piece is carefully handcrafted, combining traditional techniques with a modern aesthetic, resulting in jewelry that reflects individuality, identity, and personal expression.
In a world where creativity often lives in separate boxes, ToTintor blurs the lines with a vision that merges sound, emotion, and sculptural form. What began in the realm of electronic music has evolved into a multidisciplinary language - one that transforms rhythm into metal and atmosphere into wearable art. In this conversation, we explore how Nikola Tintor, the artist behind ToTintor jewelry shapes silver and raw crystals the same way he shapes sound: with intention, emotion, and a deep respect for individuality.
Before ToTintor Jewelry Existed, What Was Your Main Form of Artistic Expression?
Before the ToTintor jewelry came to life, my primary form of artistic expression was, and still is electronic music. Through producing tracks and performing as a DJ, I learned how rhythm, emotion, and atmosphere can shape a story without using a single word. Music taught me how to translate feelings into form, how to build tension and release, how to create energy that people can carry with them.
How Did Your Experience With Music Shape the Jewelry You Create Today?
Jewelry became the natural continuation of that expression - another medium through which I could create something deeply personal, something that speaks to identity the same way music does.

What First Inspired You To Explore Jewelry Design?
I have always been drawn to jewelry as a way to express personality. And during the pandemic, when the world paused, I finally had the time to dedicate myself to the first sketches and designs for the pieces I had imagined for years.
Why 925 Sterling Silver as Your Main Material?
Silver - especially 925 sterling silver - always fascinated me. Light, malleable, and sensitive to every touch, it reminded me of nuances in sound design. Through oxidation and patination, the metal develops depth, contrast, and character - much like textures and layers in electronic music.
Crystals Play a Striking Role in Your Designs - What Is It About Them That Captivates You and Shapes Your Work?
Crystals, on the other hand, captured me in a different, almost spiritual way. Each crystal carries a hidden beauty shaped by thousands of years underground. Their raw forms, natural colors, and the energy stored within them feel like nature’s own “frequencies.” They are authentic, unrepeatable - just like every individual who chooses to wear them.

Nikola Tintor’s vision:
To merge 925 sterling silver with raw, uncut crystals and create jewelry that reflects the uniqueness of the person wearing it.
How Do You Approach Creating Each Piece?
Just as I shape sound into emotion, I shape silver around the crystal - enhancing its natural form while keeping its raw identity intact.
Every piece I create is one-of-a-kind, including the craft behind it. Each crystal becomes the foundation of the design, and I develop the silver around it, completing its story. Through patination, I add layers of black or gray, giving the final piece a deeper, more personal tone.
Can You Describe Your Craftsmanship Process?
The process follows an ancient craftsmanship tradition - wax modeling - entirely done by hand:
- A hand-sculpted wax model created to fit the crystal’s natural form.
- Casting the wax into 925 sterling silver.
- Hand-finishing the silver and setting the stone to achieve perfect harmony.
- Engraving the silver using precise laser tools to add identity and detail.
- Patination to achieve a unique, final shade.
The result is a piece of jewelry that feels like a personal talisman - something that grows, evolves, and travels with its wearer, much like music does.
If You Had To Summarize The Essence of ToTintor in One Line, What Would It Be?
ToTintor jewelry is where two worlds meet: the world of sound and the world of form. Where music shapes atmosphere, and jewelry shapes identity.
